WCCI Mission

In December of 2005, the Board of Directors of the Watertown Council Knights of Columbus Council #155 Building Association made a decision to sell its Building and associate parcel of land at 111 Watertown Street, Watertown, MA.

This decision was made in light of declining membership in the Watertown Council and significant expenses incurred for maintenance of the building.

The Board of Directors at this time selected a legal firm, CPA firm and a money management firm to manage the corporate financial proceeds from the sale of the said building at 111 Watertown Street, Watertown, MA. In late December 2005, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts granted us our "Articles of Organization" with....
  1. David O'Connell as Incorporator
  2. Louis Gregoire as President
  3. Robert Sanchez as Treasurer
  4. Richard MacDonald as Clerk
In February 2006, the Federal Internal Revenue Service granted us as a non-profit organization (501-C-3) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code. During the month of March 2006, the officers approved David O'Connell and James Laurenza as Directors of the organization. Since our inception as Watertown Charitable Council, Inc. The Watertown Charitable Council Inc., looks to protect the future of our children, elderly, veterans, churches and non-profits with donations that coincide with the teachings of the Catholic Faith.

As every lord giveth a certain livery to his servants, charity is the very livery of Christ. Our Saviour, Who is the Lord above all lords, would have His servants known their badge, which is love.

Hugh Latimer
