The Watertown Charitable Council, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation that distributes grants and donations to prequalified groups and funding instruments. Though our main focus is to find charitable purposes in the Middlesex area of Massachusetts, we do review applicants from outside this area.
The purpose of this site is to inform prospective applicants and directors of the Watertown Charitable Council, Inc on the council's happenings.
Since our incorporation on 12/7/05 it has been our goal to raise, hold, and distribute funds to other charitable organizations and related charitable purposes by the review of the WCCI Board of Directors. Meetings of the Board of Directors of WCCI are open to any member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus #155 of Watertown, MA.
Most groups are eligible to apply, our criteria is not overwhelming but the most stringent is that the group or orginization making an application must not operate against the the teachings of the Catholic Faith. If you feel your non-profit group or organization could be a candidate for a donation or grant from WCCI, contact our Board of Directors for an interview and application form.
The Watertown Charitable Council Inc., looks to protect the future of our children, elderly, veterans, churches and non-profits with donations that coincide with the teachings of the Catholic Faith.
